Discovered in 2009 as a breeding colony.

The colony appears to have filled an ecological niche, with no effect upon native reptiles.

The colony comprises a stone wall in disrepair, with adequate vegetation at its base for the provision of invertebrate food. The egg-laying site has not yet been established.
